Day 4: 18 months after Season 3. Jack has been fired by Tony Almeida's replacement, Erin Driscoll, as have most of the agents featured in Season 3, except Chloe O'Brian. Jack now works for the Secretary of Defense, James Heller, and is dating his daughter, Audrey Raines. Jack has sworn to put his past behind him, but as a new threat emerges and Jack finds himself on the verge of returning to the life he tried to forget. Jack Bauer, Director of Field Ops for the Counter-Terrorist Unit of Los Angeles, races against the clock to subvert terrorist plots and save his nation from ultimate disaster. When this show first aired I avoided it like the plague! But one weekend I was ill I borrowed them from a friend that raved on about season two and how "Amazing the story line" was! So he lent me his DVD's of this show and I have been glued to every episode! The thing you will find with this series is every season will basically evolve around the same basic conventions of CTU mole/Double crossed/Jack kicking ass/Jack going against protocol among some others that I won't go into in case you are wanting to get into the show.

But it is with these conventions that make this show great! It grips you into watching the next episode week after week and keeps you guessingÂ…"what next?" 24 is a modern day master piece of action/drama that I for one will follow till its end, and will recommend to anyone. I love 24! I saw the last few episodes of Season 1 and was hooked and saw all of Season 2. Can't wait for Season 3. I know it's going to be awesome! If any of you guys missed Season 2, you should really buy the DVD. It will be out on Sept. 9th. It's a 7 disc DVD with 6 of them showing commentaries on select episodes and also deleted scenes! There are also a lot of behind the scene things.
